The senior chef, whom I fondly call "Vefi," was there to personally guide me through a gastronomic journey that surpassed my expectations. From June till mid-October, his expertise shone through in every dish.Each morning, I was greeted by a rich and flavorful breakfast spread that set the tone for the day ahead. However, it was the dinners that truly stood out. The daily menus and a la carte options showcased a blend of tradition and innovation, leaving my taste buds craving more with each bite. The warm ambiance of the restaurant, coupled with the friendly service of the Hechl family, made every meal a memorable experience.Der Hechl not only met but exceeded all my culinary desires. Whether you're a fellow food enthusiast or simply seeking a gourmet retreat in Austria, this hotel is a must-visit. I can't wait to return and indulge in Vefi's creations once again.
